CTC Aviation
Group plc was established in the early 1990s to provide training
and management services to the highest airline industry
standards. The company is run by experienced aviation
professionals who work closely with our airline partners
to understand their requirements and deliver services
that meet their needs. We serve major airlines around
the world, from established national flag carriers to
fast growing start-ups. We are fully approved as a CAA/JAA
Flight Training Organisation and Type Rating Training Organisation and hold JAR FCL approval
for our training courses.
CTC is recognised throughout the industry for its commitment
to the highest standards. The company’s
instructors
are among the most experienced Training Captains in commercial
aviation. Our track record of innovation includes the
groundbreaking ATP Scheme, launched in 1994 for inexperienced
young pilots which has now been incorporated into "CTC Wings"
- a unique,
vertically integrated development programme that takes
both cadets and licensed pilots all the way to the right
hand seat of a commercial airliner.
Today, CTC is expanding rapidly. In 2004, we invested
in state-of-the-art training facilities – and three
full flight simulators - at our Nursling Crew Training
Centre, near Southampton in the UK. In April
2005, we opened a brand new, purpose-built training centre
at Hamilton International Airport, in New Zealand. We
are confident in the future of commercial aviation and
in our own future, delivering high quality services tailored
to the needs of individual airlines. In the first
quarter of 2006, we have already invested 3.6 million
Euros in a fleet of 8 DA-42 Diamond Twinstar aircraft to
support the increased activity required to meet CTC's
Wings partner airline requirements. CTC is
also constructing a NZ$5 million accommodation campus
close the the Hamilton (NZ) Crew Training Centre, the
first stage of which is due for completion in July 2006.
